Going Out

You may take your baby out for walks after 1-2 weeks of age as long as the weather is good. Do not overdress the baby. By 4 to 6 weeks of age the baby may be taken to visit friends or relatives. Please try to use common sense. Do not take a newborn, less than 6-8 weeks of age, into large crowds (the mall, church nursery). Try not to take a newborn to a birthday party or other outing where many children can possibly infect your baby. As always, excellent hand washing prevents the spread of disease.
